The Yale® nexTouch™ Lock offers an ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified access control solution for commercial applications. Featuring infiNET EX® wireless communications, nexTouch integrates with a Crestron® control system to enable secure remote monitoring and entry management.
The CLK-YL-NTB620-CR2 lever lock features a capacitive touchscreen keypad and comes as a complete lockset with a standard cylindrical lock and lever pair. It is designed for installation on a standard 1-3/4 inch (44 mm) thick steel or wood door, and conforms to modified ANSI/BHMA A156.115 and A156.115-W specifications. It is suitable for both interior and exterior doors. A selection of four designer finishes is offered.
PIN Code Access
Locking or unlocking the door is easily accomplished by entering a 4-8 digit PIN code. Up to 500 unique user PIN codes are supported, including a Master PIN which can be used to access menu options and configure the lock. The lock can also be operated with a key from the outside or a thumbturn from the inside. For unrestricted passage, select user PINs may be authorized to enable Passage Mode, allowing the door to remain unlocked when appropriate.
Privacy Mode
A “privacy button” is provided on the interior escutcheon, which allows the door to be locked from the inside with a short one second press. Holding the button for three seconds places the lock in Privacy Mode, which temporarily disables the keypad and prohibits entry from the outside until the door is opened from the inside.
Lockout Mode
Lockout Mode can be activated at any time using the Master PIN to disable all PIN codes except for the Master PIN.
infiNET EX® Wireless Technology
Ultra-reliable infiNET EX wireless technology provides steadfast two-way RF communications throughout a commercial structure without the need for physical control wiring. The Yale nexTouch Lock communicates with a Crestron control system via an infiNET EX wireless gateway, and can function as part of a complete network of wireless locks, lighting dimmers, motorized shades, thermostats, keypads, handheld remotes, and other devices.[1]
Remote Management
Through integration with a Crestron control system, multiple Yale nexTouch Locks can be securely monitored and controlled through a Crestron touch screen, mobile device, or the Crestron Fusion® enterprise management service. System integration also enables customizable interaction with lighting, video surveillance, and security systems. Notification options enable pre-programmed triggers to sound an alarm or send an email or text message whenever a particular door is used, or if an authorized PIN code is used, or if someone has forcibly tampered with the lock. Activity logs can be viewed to see which user PINs were used at a particular door and time. Enhanced scheduling capabilities allow access rights to be restricted for specific user PINs during specific time periods.[2]
9V Battery Power Backup
In the event the internal batteries become too weak to operate the lock, operation may be temporarily restored by holding a standard 9 volt battery across a pair of terminals positioned just below the keypad. Such conditions are ordinarily prevented by replacing the internal batteries when a low battery condition is signaled via a Crestron touch screen, email or text alert, monitoring software, or the flashing low battery indicator on the lock itself.[2]
