The Synapse DM1 is a rackmount network audio monitor for confidence monitoring of
network audio and local sources at the rack via headphones or through the device's
integrated loudspeakers. The DM1 has two modes of network audio monitoring (selectable
via the device's front panel):
• Standard: Monitor any of the 32 channels assigned to the DM1's Dante/AES67
receiver inputs
• Extended: Allows for subscription-based monitoring of up to 128 Dante/AES67
channels loaded to the DM1 (via Attero tech Unify Control Panel Software)
Additionally, it features AES-3 digital outputs for connectivity to full-range powered
speakers or amplifiers, along with two channels of analog I/O for local
source monitoring and network I/O connectivity.
A Q-SYS control plugin is available that enables simple integration of the Synapse DM1
into the Q-SYS Ecosystem.
