Crestron® One-Touch Cable Retractors (FT2A-CBLR-1T Series) offer a refined cable management solution for use with Crestron FT2 ELEC Series FlipTops™. Each cable pulls out smoothly to any length up to 4 feet (1.2 meter), and retracts gently back into the FlipTop™ with the touch of a button. An electrically clutched, spring powered retraction mechanism allows for a compact design that is ideal for applications where vertical clearance is limited beneath the table.
Several models of cable retractors are offered, including HDMI® and DisplayPort models, as well as models that convert DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, or USB Type-C™ to HDMI, or Mini Display Port to DisplayPort. Each of these models is capable of passing video signals up to 4K60 4:4:4 and has a minimum TMDS bandwidth of 18 Gbps. Additional models are available to support VGA, stereo audio, USB, and CAT6 Ethernet. Each model is labeled with a backlit international symbol indicating the connection type, which is clearly visible to the user when selecting a connection at the table.
Up to four One-Touch Cable Retractors can be installed in a single FT2 ELEC series FlipTop. Each retractor occupies two modules spaces and can be installed at the left or right end of either row of module spaces within the FlipTop chassis.
